![]() ![]() The spots were decently spaced with no shade at all. Each site had a permanent barbeque and a plastic picnic table but no fire ring. It seemed like most overnighters or short-term stays were placed in the pull-through, full-hookup area. I was on the far side of the lake and nearby there's some type of reclamation across the drive, at times I could smell the faint odor of urine but I do smell things most people don't so you might not notice. There were 3 washers and 3 dryers, most of the machines looked very old although I didn't use any of them. The laundry is there, but unless you like carrying laundry a long distance, you'll have to drive to it. This park is huge, there's a packed area when you enter the park but most of those spots looked like full-time residents, a bit of junk around that area, truth is I was glad I wasn't placed in that location. I found the checkin easy and the staff helpful. Once you're there there's an easier entrance/exit if you're in the back area, pass the main entrance and the very next turn in is the back of the campground, much faster and shorter. The road coming in is right off 50 so it's an easy exit, but it's unpacked dirt and if you're car wasn't filthy already it will be after the drive in. ![]() The lake is strictly for viewing, no swimming, truth is you wouldn't want to anyway. I had a nice pull-through spot that was very unlevel, it took every block I had to make it work but I had a nice lake view. There are also pet-friendly rooms available, with a cleaning fee added.Passport America gave me a $16 rate with a limit of 7 days, I stayed 5. Some guests opt to stay in their RVs at a park on the property, or camp out. They also have full-size kitchens with dining room tables and all the necessary accessories for cooking and eating. The Villa Apartments are much the same, but with large living room areas with cream couches and large leather ottomans. There are also pet-friendly rooms available, with a cleaning fee added. In the small bathroom is a bathtub shower, toilet, and metal shelving for towels. By the door entrance is a granite counter with a coffeemaker, microwave, and mini-fridge. Each unit has a separate air-conditioning unit. The desk, dresser, and closet are also dark wood, and there's a flat-screen TV in the entertainment console. Curtains are lime and turquoise, with matching bed runners and a throw pillow on the bed, which has a dark wood headboard attached to the wall. The rooms have undergone renovations, and include tiled flooring and cool-blue accent walls. Throughout the year, there are special events such as Parrot Head festival, Nude Palooza, family-friendly weekends, luaus, and more. The location is ideal for those for its proximity to Orlando and the theme parks. There are no other nudist resorts in the area - the closest is two hours north in Pierson. The sand, volleyball court, and nine-hole golf course need updating. There are two swimming pools (no swimwear in the pool), and the poolside bar, Cheeks, offers both indoor and outdoor seating on plastic patio furniture. At the boutique, jewelry, cover ups, hats, bags, and floaties for the pool are on sale. Here, there is also a general store with snacks, swim gear, drinks, naturist magazines, and an ATM. Guests enter through a circle drive off a long county road and are greeted at the front desk, which is more reminiscent of a doctor’s office than a resort. Though the resort has family-oriented features, most of the guests are mature couples. Single men must be members of Cypress Cover or have previous nudist resort experience. Open since 1964, the Cypress Cove Nudist Resort, sprawled over more than 300 acres, has garnered repeat visitors and members over the years. ![]()
